As nature intended, casual, easy going 22 acre wooded campsite alongside the River Coe. Campfires allowed.

Location

We are situated near the Old Glencoe Road. About 1 mile off the main A82 which passes through the Glen, coming from the South.

People were camping on the land where Red Squirrel Campsite is now, since last century.
Hugh MacColl found a horseshoe embedded in a tree he cut in 1970. It looked like one used by Gypsies.
Since 1914 there is a written record of prices collected for camping.
